How I have been living my life till…Optimindzation came into my life!

A month ago, I stood back and took a look at my life so far. How have I been living my life? Am I happy with my life right now? Yes? No? I felt that other people and circumstances were responsible for the situation I was in. I blamed others for my bad days. I felt that I could have achieved more if not for some people who were in my way to success.I waited for things to happen. I shoved a lot of the responsibility for the things that go on in my life to others. I blamed others and circumstances for my bad days, for what I have not achieved or for any mess in my life in general. I felt powerless and depended on others in order for me to feel good about myself or my life. I felt trapped. I thought, “If only my husband, my parents, my in-laws, my children, understood me and helped me achieve my dreams or did what I wanted or what is best for me, then life would be great.”

I could have designed myself into a victim of circumstances if I waited and hoped for things to be different or others to provide me with outcomes or happiness. I never took responsibility for my decisions. I laid the blame on others for failures. I was in the “effect’ mode.

To get out of the “effect” mode, I had to constantly ask myself: “How am I living now? At “cause” or “effect” mode? I just had to reframe my thinking. It is all in the mind. That’s when I came to know about the Law Of Attraction!

Being at “cause” mode means that I make things happen. I decided in creating what I want in life and take responsibility for whatever I achieve or do not achieve! I see the world as a place of opportunity and I moved forward to achieve what I desire. If things were not turning out as I would like, I took stock, explored other possibilities and execute action. Above all, I remind myself that I have choices in what I do and how I react to people and events. It also meant that I have choices in my life – I can choose what is best for me.

When I was at the “effect” mode, I often saw myself as a victim with no choices whatsoever. The truth was that I did have choices but I chose not to take action. I was simply reacting to whatsoever was thrusted upon me. I waited for things to happen. I tended to blame others and did not take responsibility for my actions.

Each morning when I got up, I use to either ask myself, “I wonder what my day will bring,” or “What do I to choose to bring to my day?” The choice was mine! I started using techniques like relaxation, meditation, visualization and making affirmations to dispel “effect” thoughts and reprogramme it into one that is positive and healthy. I explored other ways to achieve my outcomes, or asked others for help. The choice was mine.

If you think that you are in the same circumstances as I was, try this simple technique first thing in the morning. Visualize happiness and control. It may sound flaky, but try it anyway. Sit quietly for 10 minutes and close your eyes. Imagine a stream of light from the sky flowing into your body, and, as it touches you, imagine a sense of happiness and composure. See yourself feeling happy with your decisions. See others around you feeling happy with your actions as well. Picture this in as much detail as possible. Relax and enjoy this mental movie. Keep this image with you throughout the day. Pay attention how you feel. And keep a note of how the unfolds.

March forward to make things happen by choosing all that you want to bring into your life! Law of attraction will attract what you want in your life, you just have to ask! Just as I did, by just following the Optimindzation Attraction Accelerator!
